How It All Began
Moonpize was born in 2010 in a tiny kitchen on Carnaby Street, Soho, London. Founder Marco Bellini had a simple vision: bring authentic, stone-baked Italian pizza to the British high street β made fresh daily with the finest local and imported ingredients.
What started as a single outlet with just five tables quickly became the talk of the neighbourhood. Word spread, queues formed, and within two years Moonpize had opened its second location in Manchester's Northern Quarter.
Today, with 100+ restaurants across the UK and half a million loyal customers, Moonpize remains true to its roots: every pizza is made with fresh dough, kneaded daily by hand, using locally sourced British ingredients wherever possible.

We source from British farms wherever we can. From Yorkshire mozzarella to Kent tomatoes β supporting local is at our heart.
Sustainable
All our packaging is 100% compostable. We're carbon neutral in our deliveries since 2023, using e-bikes across all major cities.
Community First
We donate unsold pizzas to local foodbanks nightly. In 2024, we provided over 50,000 meals to people in need across the UK.
Milestones
Founded in Soho, London
Marco Bellini opens the first Moonpize on Carnaby Street with 5 tables and one wood-fired oven.
Manchester Expansion
Second location opens in Manchester's Northern Quarter. Online ordering launches, with 500 orders in the first week.
25 Locations Reached
Moonpize reaches 25 restaurants and wins its first "Best Pizza Chain" award from the UK Food & Drink Awards.
50 Locations & Carbon Neutral Pledge
50th restaurant opens in Edinburgh. Moonpize pledges to become fully carbon neutral in deliveries by 2023.
